The School of the Poetic City summer camps promote the having of wonderful ideas through contemporary art practices, exploration of the city, and art making. They are intentionally mixed-age, for children 5 to 15 years old.

The directors are Peter Thulson, M.Ed, teacher
at Highline Community Elementary School,
Anne Thulson, M.F.A., professor of art education
at Metropolitan State University of Denver
and Fred Thulson. The other teachers are educators working in the arts.

The camps are based at St. Andrew’s Church,
