  1. The School of the Poetic City summer camps promote the having of wonderful ideas through contemporary art practices, exploration of the city, and art making. They are intentionally mixed-age, for children 5 to 15 years old.


  3. The directors are:

  4. Peter Thulson, M.Ed, teacher for 20 years at The Rocky Mountain School of Expeditionary Learning

  5. Anne Thulson, M.F.A., art teacher for 12 years at The Odyssey School, now professor of art education at Metropolitan State University of Denver.


  7. The assistants are:

  8. College-age adults with interests in art and education.


  10. The camps are based at St. Andrew’s Church, 2015 Glenarm Place (click for map).
